The Roma Fig. 573 Direct Acting Surplus Valve is a single seated, spring regulated Surplus Valve.
The system pressure being relieved acts upon the valve plug providing control of the valve opening in accordance with the regulating spring setting. The Fig. 573 has a balanced outlet.
