Technical Information - Fig No. 116S

The ‘ROMA’ Type ‘MF’ Pressure Reducing Valve is hydraulically operated, single seated, piston actuated, diaphragm controlled and spring regulated.

Automatically reduces higher and fluctuating inlet pressures to constant outlet pressures regardless of the flow demands.

The diaphragm pilot control closes when the outlet setting is attained allowing inlet pressure via internal passage to build up above piston to close main valve at a rate predetermined by restricting orifice.

The contoured valve plug provides a more gradual closing of the valve when it nears its seat, giving a stable control even at small flows.
